If you are here, you are probably wondering three things:
Can I really help you?
What would coaching with me actually look like?
And, of course, how much would it cost?
This page answers all three.
There are three ways to work with me, and one of them is free.
Here is what you will find below:
Who I am. So you know exactly who you would be working with.
How this works. The two core ideas I use to help people change their lives.
The three ways we can work together. Including the free one, with what each costs and what you walk away with.
My guess is you are here because you are tired of fighting yourself, and tired of trying things that make good sense but, for you, do not stick.
I know that feeling well. I tried everything that was supposed to work, and I always slid back.
A Little About Me
My name is Daniel. I was adopted at two, and I was bullied as a kid for being half-Japanese. Somewhere in those years, the young me, without knowing it, deep down formed a story that I was not good enough.
For most of my life, my brain worked to protect me from ever feeling that story, because it was born in the most painful moments of my life.
So, I learned to procrastinate, because if I went all out and did not succeed, it would prove the story deep inside was true. I learned to let go of relationships first when they started to become too comfortable, because I was more afraid of them leaving me. When I did find success, I would coast and not keep going, because I was afraid I would end up failing anyway.
Nothing changed until I found the story underneath the behavior. When I finally saw the story I had created, the fight started to go out of it, and my life began to change in ways effort alone never managed.
That is why I do this work. I coach because I know exactly what it feels like to live at war with yourself, and I know what it feels like when the war ends.
How This Works, My Philosophy
Everything I do is built on two key ideas.
The first and most important idea: your behavior is not the problem. Somewhere in your past, usually as a child, you formed a story about yourself. I am not good enough. I am not safe. I am not noticed. It is all up to me. You do not remember forming it, and you cannot see it now, but it has been quietly driving your behavior ever since.
It looks like this.
If your story is that you did not get the attention you needed, maybe parents who were absent or always busy, you might be the loud one, the partier, the one who needs to lead things, or the one chasing followers.
If your story is that you are not safe, you might stay home more than you want to, stay quiet in meetings, keep everyone at a careful distance.
If your story is that you are not good enough, you might procrastinate on the very things that matter most, like I did.
None of that is a character flaw. It is an old story doing its job. But here is what it costs you. Living with a hidden story means constantly fighting yourself, and that fight produces a stress you carry everywhere, in your body, your sleep, your patience, your relationships.
It hurts relationships. You attract the wrong people. You get angry or go quiet when triggered. You are controlling or completely hands off. You never go for things, and people know never to ask you to.
Most people have carried it so long they think it is just who they are.
The moment you find the story and see it clearly, something loosens. That is the first cornerstone of my coaching: find the story, because a story you can see starts losing its grip, and the stress it creates starts to lift.
Just imagine what it would be like to quit fighting yourself deep inside. It is freedom. When you really understand the story and how it was created, it is like you suddenly wake up and realize you have new choices.
The second idea: seeing the story is the beginning, not the end. Once it is no longer running you, you get to decide who you actually want to be, and then build that person, step by step, until it stops feeling new and starts feeling like you.
Most approaches stop at insight. The insight is half the work. Becoming someone new is the other half, and it is the half that makes the change last. Change your identity, change your life.
For me, even after I found my stories, I was still very comfortable with the old me, and the old me had a lot of old habits and old thinking that did not fit the life I had in mind. So I worked, step by step, to make a new me.
Many people expect to make a complete change in a very short time, and when it does not go as planned, they fall back into their old programming. With my coaching, I teach you small, simple, effective steps you can implement right away that begin to reprogram your mind. You can change who you are through practice.
That is it. Find the story. Become who you really are without that story running your life.
Three Ways We Can Work Together
A free 30-minute call. No charge, no pressure, and genuinely useful on its own. We talk, I listen, and in most cases we find one of your stories together right there on the call. I will give you real advice and tips on how to continue on your own. You will feel what this work is like instead of taking my word for it. If it helps and you want more, I will show you the options. If not, you still leave with something real. This is also how you can judge me, honestly, before spending anything.
A one-time breakthrough session, $295. Ninety minutes to go properly under one of your patterns, much deeper than a first call can. We find the story holding the pattern in place and work through loosening its grip, so you feel the shift, not just understand it. Then, in the second part of the session, I give you my complete framework for the other half of the work: how to define who you want to be without the story, and the simple daily steps that reprogram your mind toward that person. You leave with the story named, its grip loosened, and a plan you can run on your own from the very next morning.
Good if you want real depth on one pattern and a clear method to carry forward yourself.
The four-week transformation, $795, or ($595 if you begin within a week of your free call).
I recommend this one because it covers both halves of the work. A single session helps you find the story. The month is where you take it off and become the person on the other side of it with me beside you the whole way.
Here’s what the month includes:
A long first session, 90 minutes to two hours, to find and loosen your core story.
Weekly sessions after that, to work through the roadblocks when the old story resurfaces and find the deeper ones underneath it.
A shared daily tracker, so you can see yourself moving forward even on the flat days, and so I can keep you on track.
Email access to me between every session.
A simple, repeatable method you keep for life, so you can do this on your own long after the month ends.
By the end, you’ll have named the story that’s been running you, felt its grip loosen, and started building the person you actually want to be, with the tools to keep going.
A single session helps you find the chain. The month is where you take it off and become the person on the other side of it, with someone who supports you the entire time.
One honest note before you decide. I am not a licensed therapist, and coaching is not therapy. If what you are carrying needs clinical care, I will tell you so, kindly, because I want to help you the best way I know how.
I work on Japan Standard Time and all sessions are online. [Time zone converter]
